KuehnOptCut: A Cutting Optimization Demo for Android
KuehnOptCut is a free cutting optimization demo designed for Android 4.0 or higher, aimed at saving time, material, and money. It allows users to optimize 2D panels and 1D bars, with adjustable nesting depth and the ability to manage projects and orders. The app provides a detailed cutting layout in PDF format, which requires a PDF Viewer, such as Acrobat Reader. The optimization runs in the background and is multi-core ready, meaning it won't interfere with other tasks. The user can also view the list of produced panels and parts, as well as the list of not-produced parts if there aren't enough panels. KuehnOptCut also shows rest/offcut and the dimensioning of parts and cuts. The app is multi-language, and there is no need for a PC or Mac. Other optimizations, such as palletizing 2D in layers and palletizing 3D, are available in KuehnOptPal.
